The Wonderful Antigua

Image from telegraph.co.uk
After watching this weekend's X Factor we were certainly jealous of the location Nicole Scherzinger's judges house - Antigua.

Antigua is a small island situated in the Eastern Caribbean region. With white sandy beaches, jaw-dropping views, protected bays and coral reefs, small coves and an abundance of land and sea tours, it really is somewhere you'll love!

It really is a gorgeous place to visit and you will certainly be blown away!

Marathonisi

Marathonisi in Zakynthos is one of the most beautiful hidden beaches in Europe.

Located on an uninhabited island just off the coast of Laguna Bay, just take a boat out there and enjoy this beautiful island. The waters are crystal clear and the sand is white - they are also plenty of sea caves to explore! There are no snack bars and only a few facilities - so take along some snacks from the main island and have a little picnic on the beach!

It's simply is a wonderful place to escape and get away!

Pinarello Beach

Small-scale Mediterranean beach life still exists in Corsica, as Pinarello Beach proves. It's a picturesque long stretch (1.2km) of soft white sand backed by dramatic mountains and overlooked by a Genoese watchtower.

Located in the seaside hemlet of Pinarello, this is a popular family-friendly beach destination, with plenty of opportunities for refreshments and water sports. Perfect for those sporty types or just lay out a towel and sit back and relax if that's more your thing.

We certainly wish we could be there.

Broad Sands

Daniel Start
We have found another secret beach and it's in the UK too!

Hidden away beneath rocky cliffs in Devon lies Broad Sands, one of Exmoor's best secret beaches. It has everything you want to sit back and relax whilst enjoying the summer's sun - the sea is a beautiful blue perfect for a swim and the sand is soft. Also this beach has a double cove which means many caves to explore to those more adventurous type.

Access isn't exactly straightforward and can be quite difficult, but that's half fun. It's all about exploring and finding your way there then finally being able to sit back and relax.

Kynance Cove - Cornwall

Set among the wild flower-covered rocks of the Lizard Peninsula's breath-taking coastline, Kynance Cove was a strong favorite in Victorian times.

Today, the Cove is still a popular location with brilliant turquoise water, white sand and stunning views. It's clear water is perfect for those lovers of the sea - enjoy a swim or even snorkel to see what treasures you can find. For those dare-devil jumpers they are plenty of rock towers just remember to be careful!

Located close to the beach there's a lovely National Trust tea room the perfect spot to grab some lunch or snacks, while looking out to the beach and spectacular views.

This is the perfect little beach in a remote location in Cornwall. Beautiful!

Secret Beach - Marieta Island

With crystal clear waters and sandy beaches, the origins of this idyllic paradise may come as a surprise - it is in fact the world's most picturesque bomb site.

The secluded strip of sand is believed to have formed decades ago when the Mexican Government used it as target practice in the early 1900s. But where you would expect ruins, here lies a beautiful deserted beach on the Marieta Island in Puerto Vallarta.

Doesn't it look so beautiful! We know that this is definitely a secret beach we want to visit!

Britain's Highest Beach!

This little hidden gem is located in Yorkshire, miles away from any coast line.

Being named as Britain's highest and perhaps most secret beach it is only accessible via a 40 minute walk up steep footpaths in the south Pennines hills above Todmorden. Despite it's remote location, the cove is located next to the Gaddings Dam and is a popular spot with locals in the know, but now growing in popularity!

It's a very secluded and unique beach and it's right here in Britain! Who would of thought, it looks like it could of been a scene from a holiday postcard.
